This is a pretty shallow and disingenuous take on the subject matter. Liberals wanted an unequivocal condemnation of Saturday's events, but sooner than the Monday proceeding the affair. There's an entire topic devote to the subject; why don't you go read it?

This whole thing is ridiculous. The only thing that we should be focusing on are the radicals in this country that use violence. The people that use violence can be handled at a local level with the courts and justice. You can't arrest and prosecute an idea, though. The idea is the problem, and Trump is part of it. It's time people stop using scapegoats to explain their actions. These radicalized people made a personal choice and you can't blame another figure-head which does not agree with their use of violence. You make your bed in this country and then you gotta sleep in that bed.

People are upset because Trump took so long to issue an unequivocal takedown of what happened on Saturday. They were already upset at the people who were already at the rally doing these things.

I can see what TC is getting at. Trump condemned the attack by saying it was both sides. Clearly Trump was referring to the Bernie Bro who shot the congressman (left) and the neo-Nazi who drove his car into the protesters (right). That it is both sides taking part in this violence. That wasn't enough apparently. They wanted Trump to go on and on for 20+ minutes to essentially say the same thing he already did.

I know that Trump is quick to fire off a tweet when he hears something he doesn't like from Hillary or Obama, for example. But the types of situations where does impulse tweet aren't comparable to this.
