I am absolutely not a fan of Trump
But, he is pretty spot-on with talking about how gang violence is largely becoming a huge issue that no one's paying attention to. There's been a big, big uptick in gang activity here on L.I. in the past couple years. My brother in law had to change wedding venues a year or so ago because four people were murdered on the property of the country club him and his wife were gonna have their reception. FTR, murder and violent crime rate is insanely low in Suffolk/Nassau count, one of the lowest in the entire U.S. So stuff like multiple homicides popping up over the span of a year or two is a big deal to people here.
