I just saw the exchange between the "oh so very unwhite" Jim Acosta and lightbulb-turned-matrix-agent Stephen Miller at the WH press conference.

The only thing I see is Legal US citizenship Documentation, or invalid papers / not legal to work in the US. Period. I don't give a crap about your Skin Color / Ethnicity / Nationality / What Planet you're freaking from / What sob story you have / What Handicap you have / etc. If you legally pass our Immigration Laws to work here, then you're welcomed to start the Immigration process to Naturalize and Become a Citizen. If you can't meet that threshold, so sad, too bad for you, try again in a few years once you meet ___ Requirements to get in and get a job. We need to copy Canada's stringent Job Protection System, our's isn't good enough. And we need to change the Citizenship laws to be more European such that at least one Biological Parent must be a Legal Citizen at the time of Birth of the Child before confering Citizenship onto said Child. And we need to adjust H1B's Minimum Pay Requirement to adjust for inflation of $60,000 from 1989 to current year as the minimum salary. And prevent "Temporary / Outsourcing Companies" from using it. Stop replacing our Workers with cheap labor from outside as well. If you replace our Aging Work Force for younger US citizens doing said job, then I'm ok with that. That makes sense. But to be replaced by somebody outside who will literally operate on a Buck a day isn't fair or even reasonable to compete against.

Substitute "black" or "gay" for MAGA in the topic title and see if you read it differently.
The point is there's no such thing. You're basically taking a shared characteristic (for the sake of simplicity let's say the wearing of clothing with MAGA somewhere on it) and projecting a shared ideology onto everyone involved, which wouldn't be tolerated in the case of race, gender, or sexual orientation. It shouldn't be tolerated for any of them simply because it's sophistry, but I digress. Some people really are the brainless sheep Trump supporters are portrayed as, some probably lost manufacturing jobs and to them MAGA means getting those jobs back, some have other interpretations. Try not to let them divide you with this tribal "Us vs Them" nonsense as that's the slippery slope that leads to dehumanizing those you disagree with.

Every single rural area I've been to in northern NV and CA has brown/white working together and sharing a table at the local coffee shop. Every single one. I'm sure there's areas this don't happen but visit some of these places and ask them yourself.

The MAGA people are not a monolithic group. A majority are xenophobes. Many are racist. Many are not. Most of them don't care what someone's race is so long as they adapt to/assimilate American/western culture (i.e. they are pro-Trump alt-righters and are not Muslim or Middleastern.) Okay, actually, scratch that, more of them are racist than I was thinking. Just not against Hispanics or Blacks (except for blacks with "Arab-like" facial features, that is. I'm not joking.)

They show exponentially less animosity towards alt-right minorities-- and a large percentage even embrace the black ones. Real conservatives believe in some version of meritocracy. Your race does not matter and should not play a factor and shouldnt influence any of your decisions about them. No unfair treatment. No special treatment. Merit. Anyone with a brain in their head and heart in their chest can grasp this.
Waiting for my angle to get spun into "something something neo-slavery capitalism!" instead of the common sense work ethic.
