I know people who voted Trump, but they don't display it, they are very humble about their mistake, and at this point basically couldn't tell you why they did it. Then there's supporters. MAGA hats, can't go one conversation without saying something vaguely racist, swear that he's doing a good job but also can't tell you why.

I doubt I'd ever ask a potential babysitter who the hell they voted for in whatever elections. I'd mostly care about their caretaking experience, first aid/CPR training, and references.

It's sad, really. My Jewish MIL voted for Trump because she hates Muslims. (She didn't say that, of course, but she's complained for years about Muslim indoctrination in the schools.) I will never celebrate Passover with her again because I might choke on the hypocrisy.

As a liberal i voted yes.
I think trump voters made a huge judgement of error in voting for the guy, but as people they probably arent so bad. Moreover id trust my mom to babysit my kid if i had one and she voted for trump, so... |

If they're otherwise qualified to do so then sure. Political views would be pretty far down on my list of concerns about someone who's going to watch my kids.
