He's PISSED that Sessions recused himself from any Russia-related investigation earlier this year.
That removes Sessions from a position where he can cover for Trump's ass.

Trump wanted Sessions to prevent the investigation from getting anywhere but even Jeff "cool with the Klan" Sessions isn't as corrupt as Trump.

trump has already been asking if he has the power to pardon himself after learning that the special investigation can look into his tax returns he has refused to release.

Sessions recused himself because of peer pressure and didn't want to deal with the hassle.
Mueller was friends with Comey and the members of his special counsel were people who donated tens of thousands to DNC.

Someone who works under Trump must always put Trump's interests above their own. Sessions didn't do that.
