All of NATO needs to collectively sanction the shit out of them and freeze the assets of all the Russian oligarch's foreign bank accounts. Once the oligarchs start significantly losing their precious money they will turn on Putin in a heartbeat. unfortunately NATO has no balls. we cant count on them to do anything. |

we're pulling out of the EU thus losing confidence with our european allies, the US government seems to be in chaos and the executive branch are close with putin, our PM seems to be under threat ever few months of being ousted as leader and the other superpowers of the world aren't exactly concerned over this |

i love when i hear people say "but there's nothing we can do to russia!!!" whenever something like this happens
everyone is aware that the sanctions we implemented on them after the Crimea invasion have basically decimated their economy, right? this is a huge reason why russia pushed so hard to get Trump elected since Clinton would've been even harder on Russia than Obama was and they literally can't survive much more additional devastation to their economy. this is proof that an economic war is the most effective way to combat them that sanctions really do work as intended. |

To do anything else would be just another noose around her neck at this point. But the chaos is exactly why Russia is acting so brazenly and telling everyone to go fuck themselves. Trump's refusal to sign sanctions only adds to their belief they can do as they please and little will be done to stop them, and the west needs to unite in telling Russia to stop. Or they will keep on acting as they have in recent years with regards to invading and indiscriminate killing/meddling. |
