It's inevitable at this point. Just 10 months to go.

If their reactions to losing Alabama last month's were a preview of it then it'll be absolutely glorious. Better start popping that popcorn now. Just imagine the tears when they realize any hope of getting anything Trump promised them vanishes in to thin air.

Keep dreaming, dude. They're not going to retake anything because the Democratic Party is divided. We got this shit.

That's why Democrats lost so badly in VA and AL.

Unfortunately there's only 8 Republican Senate seats up for election this year and 3 of the incumbents are retiring. So there's not much for them to win there. Though one of them is Ted Cruz and I would love for him to lose to literally anybody.
Democrats will most likely nearly sweep the House though, where every seat is up for election.

Keep in mind, thanks to Doug Jones, we only need 2 more seats for a majority, and Arizona and Nevada are looking to be easy democratic pickups

Sure, but as evidenced by Republicans last year, a slim majority doesn't let them do much. So even if they win every seat available (and lose none mind you), to get the votes they need either they have to pull reconciliation or continue their trend of reaching across the aisle to let Republicans completely destroy any bill they try to pass.
I mean, Republicans not being able to pass any more shitty bills will be great, but we still need to undo all the shit they have done.

A simple majority is all that's needed to block anything Trump wants to do

The 2020 map heavily favors Democrats, so we'll pick up even more seats.then as well as ousting Trump.

That and AZ isn't deep red like AL. Trump won narrowly there, it's purple.

They never learn. This kind of smug arrogance was the same thing we heard up until election day in 2016. Now we hear it again interspersed between daily crying and meltdowns about Trump, without a single intelligent lesson taken from the humiliation.

How does it feel to know that your party is praying and dreaming about winning back one third of power? How does it feel knowing that because of the way your party behaved, that it has zero power? The dems are not going to win until they have a massive rehaul of their leaders, which... yeah. It's not gonna happen any time soon 😁

The party, including Trump, still endorsed him. I fail to see how being endorsed by the president is being abandoned by your party.

The lack of self-awareness amongst Democrats never ceases to amaze me. That must take a lot of Kool Aid.

At least the GOP is just a bunch of conspiracy theory nutjobs. That I can understand. Democrats seem to be made up of a bunch of echo chamber yes-men.

The Alabama vote wasn't a victory, the write-in vote was more than the margin of victory. That means had there not been the controversy, those people would have voted for Moore. They still could bring themselves to pull the lever for a dem.
